What girly-girl doesn’t
L O V E nail polish!?!?!? As you see no one really does acrylic or gel “French Tips” anymore, Or at least my friends don’t! You can have more F U N with natural nails, its less maintenance and cost efficient. I go to my mani/pedi every two weeks to a month still, but this time I bring my OWN polish. (Shouts out to Daily Nails, I see you Holly!)Annieways, back to what I was saying…I bring my own color not because I don’t like the selection, but because in between the time until I go for my next mani/pedi I like to touch up my nails. I’m a mother of two and nail polish gets chipped like every other day! Well for anyone that knows me knows that I find easy alternatives for other resources! Here is how I met my S I N with polish… as we A L L know O.P.I. has an appealing selection of polishes and has great quality. However, that $8-$12 per polish may not be so appealing! I know I know, I’m all about “Quality over Quantity”, but some things I find “Quality with Quantity”, I guess I get it from my mother! She is actually the one that “put me on” with my new polish addiction! My mother, whom is 52 (and looks no older than 40) had on this H O T T pink polish. I died *Rachel Zoe voice*. She showed me the polish and it was a brand called “SINFUL COLORS” and she got it from Walgreens. Well I went on one of my Walgreens rampage for magazines, candies, etc. and decided to check it out. They had the widest selection of colors that I fell in love with instantly! When I saw that price; I fell in love all over again! $1.99!!! I know ya’ll are probably thinking, “Ughh another Wet ‘n’ Wild!”…No it's not. The polish quality was quite surprising seeing as though it was so inexpensive. It’s not too thick and it’s not watered down. So next time you stop by your local Walgreens, try it out! I promise it's two bucks you won’t regret. (I should be in advertising)
Another shoutout, to Corvette, she took my advice and is addicted like myself!
Here's my personal assortment.
I hoard: nail polish.
