Katy Perry feat. Kanye West "Extraterrestrial"

Love. Love. Love. this song....Katy and Kanye?!? A M A Z I N G.
BTW I heart her style, she reminds me of a new age Rose McGowan. Sorry Rosey, your botox or face lift ruled you out my book.

R.I.P. The Great Kirk Kelley...

It saddens me to write this post. Atlanta's own designer Kirk Kelley has past away. I do not have specifics nor details of and/or how, but that is irrelevant. This post is to recognize him as an A M A Z I N G designer. I haven't had the pleasure myself to meet the designer personally, but have heard great things about him. My first time seeing his work in person was at The Fashion Lounge, hosted  by Rashad Productions, Lipstick Productions and Jordan Steede. He showed his Men's Fall 2010 collection and Women's Spring 2011 collection. My friend Rashea and I were in awe. His menswear was so eclectic yet fashionable and we loved every bit of his women's electric swimwear! Most Atlanta's fashion industry knew of Kirk Kelley and his amazing work, he has been featured in numerous independent magazines and fashion shows. I would like everyone who hasn't seen his work to take  a moment and view the images below and google him. As I look forward to making my steps closer into the fashion industry as a designer, Kirk Kelley was truly an inspiration. You will truly be missed but never forgotten! My prayers goes out to his family and friends...

siNASTY.

What girly-girl doesn’t
L O V E nail polish!?!?!? As you see no one really does acrylic or gel “French Tips” anymore, Or at least my friends don’t! You can have more F U N with natural nails, its less maintenance and cost efficient. I go to my mani/pedi every two weeks to a month still, but this time I bring my OWN polish. (Shouts out to Daily Nails, I see you Holly!)Annieways, back to what I was saying…I bring my own color not because I don’t like the selection, but because in between the time until I go for my next mani/pedi I like to touch up my nails. I’m a mother of two and nail polish gets chipped like every other day! Well for anyone that knows me knows that I find easy alternatives for other resources! Here is how I met my S I N with polish… as we   A L L know O.P.I. has an appealing selection of polishes and has great quality. However, that $8-$12 per polish may not be so appealing! I know I know, I’m all about “Quality over Quantity”, but some things I find “Quality with Quantity”, I guess I get it from my mother! She is actually the one that “put me on” with my new polish addiction! My mother, whom is 52 (and looks no older than 40) had on this H O T T pink polish. I died *Rachel Zoe voice*. She showed me the polish and it was a brand called “SINFUL COLORS” and she got it from Walgreens. Well I went on one of my Walgreens rampage for magazines, candies, etc. and decided to check it out. They had the widest selection of colors that I fell in love with instantly! When I saw that price; I fell in love all over again! $1.99!!! I know ya’ll are probably thinking, “Ughh another Wet ‘n’ Wild!”…No it's not. The polish quality was quite surprising seeing as though it was so inexpensive. It’s not too thick and it’s not watered down. So next time you stop by your local Walgreens, try it out! I promise it's two bucks you won’t regret. (I should be in advertising)
Another shoutout, to Corvette, she took my advice and is addicted like myself!
Here's my personal assortment.

JAG.SMUDGE.

Fell in L O V E with these Jeffrey Campbell's when I first laid eyes on them...I usually don't "do" cheetah/leopard print, B U T that's what I found most interesting about these-Its Jaguar print. Most cheetah/leopard print shoes can look very cheap, however these didn't appeal to be nor was cheap. LOL. Since wedges are "in", but with Spring well on it's way I based my decision of purchase due to the fact they were peep toe wedge booties. Fall 2010 I wanted wedge booties that weren't the ordinary that everyone had, so I passed on them. Now I'm in full force for Spring 2011. They are super comfy 5" platform heels that fits true to size.
